Mesa’s Edge began at Taos Ski Valley in 1989 after the owner, Louise Pasaka, returned from working as a nurse on the Navajo Nation. Since then Louise and her partner Alain Pinto have formed close relationships with many of the best artists from the Navajo Nation and the Pueblo tribes from the region.

The collection at Mesa’s Edge has gained widespread recognition for authentic, beautiful high quality Southwestern and Native American art. Louise, Alain and the staff have immense respect for and knowledge of these handmade art forms, as well as the rich cultures they represent and support. After 32 years, the gallery continues to represent some of the top award winning Native American jewelers as well as some of the best Taos studio art jewelry made by 25-30 jewelers from the local area, many who have won awards in local, regional and national art shows. Aside from awarded Native American pottery, sculpture, and painting, hundreds of collectable Zuni fetishes live here among other artwork and Pendleton blankets. We enjoy assisting collectors in building quality Southwestern collections as well as introducing the first time buyer to Southwestern arts.

We have a very knowledgeable and experienced staff available during business hours to answer questions and assist you with your purchase. Don’t hesitate to contact us! We look forward to meeting and working with you.
