Ron Wesley was born in 1946 at Santa Barbara, Ca. He began silversmithing while living in El Rancho, NM which neighbors San Ildefonso Pueblo on the banks of the Rio Grande River. Since youth he has had a fascination for turquoise and its relationship to Indian Jewelry, which has deeply moved and influenced his style. Although he says, “I receive inspirations everywhere”, his natural gift for balance and forms, along with his carefully trained eye, merge with his years of experience to provIde heartfelt, spirit filled adornments. Ron’s passion for his art, as well as attention to detail, will hopefully echo for the beholder the enchantment, magic, and spirit of the true Southwest. While Ron has won many awards for his jewelry, he values the appreciation and support of the many devoted followers who love his work.
