Born and raised in the mountains of Northern New Mexico, I have always found solace and inspiration in the mountains and rocks of the American West. Rock climbing has always been a passion for me and I draw inspiration from my time spent in the vertical landscape, as a climber and climbing guide. I grew up creating, working the summers for my uncle Phil Poirier, a goldsmith, before studying photography and furniture making in college. My work is a meeting point. The intersection of a passion for climbing and a desire to create.
