Paula Estevan was born in 1967 at Acoma Pueblo and has been making pottery since 1986. She learned the art of making pottery in the traditional way from her mother, Patricia Estevan, and from Mary Chino and Victoria Garcia.

Paula’s hand coiled pots are exceptional examples of Acoma pottery in shape with thin walls. Her design process involves creating a repeating Acoma design element in an extremely fine pattern across the entire surface, creating eye dazzling finished pot.
